PROTOTYPE PAST: Mega Bloks Halo Brute Prowler Attack Early Test Box

 

When a product is prepared for release to be sold worldwide, it usually goes through various testing and prototypes. Some seen in very early promo images, shown by the company and people behind the projects, or early box art. Sometimes even the finalized promo images had been modified from the final release.

We're taking a look at some very early prototypes in some articles. In this, we're looking at the very early look at the box for the Brute Prowler Attack, a set from Mega Bloks Halo. The package seems to use unfinished package art, and the original Brute Prowler only with red alternate highlights.

It seems the set was only a place holder, seeing as the figures are what we actually got from the released version. It seems they might've been playing around with the idea, mixing the crimson, even the fin behind the seat uses the original printed piece. It's still interesting to see.
