Series 8 Translucent Promethean Watcher Revealed

A new Series 8 figure has been revealed, though he might try to go invisible. An Orange promethean Watcher has been found (Credit for find to TheSSMotion on Youtube) on the internet. This figure will include a stand and will be able to fit into some Promethean Knights. What do you think, comment below, let us know.

Series 8 Tranclucent Recruit Spartan Found!

Yep, another Series 8 Mystery figure has been revealed, take a look at the Translucent Green UNSC Recruit Spartan in all it's glory. This means unlike Series 5 and 6, the Translucent Rare Figures will be much like Series 7, to where the figures are not the same mold. Last Translucent Figure revealed for the line was a Translucent Brown Covenant Zealot Elite. Not only do we see this with a Crimson Covenant Storm Elite, but the code for both is revealed. Credit goes to Josh S.

Code for the Active Camo with Elite is A21103MM.

FUN FACT, this is the first Translucent/Active Camo Scattershot seen.

Mega Bloks Halo #97262 UNSC Infinity Armor Bay Revealed and more

With a news credit to BAToys4BABoys and TheSSMotion, we can see a brand new set for the release of the upcoming year (Maybe earlier) and yes we are talking about the UNSC Infinity Armor Bay.

As previously seen, we now get the name of a set seen from the back of some of the back of other 2013 sets advertised. The Mega Bloks Halo #97213 Rapid Attack Covenant Ghost. Which includes a UNSC Spartan Recruit with Spartan Laser, a Covenant Zealot Elite with an Energy Sward, and the Covenant Ghost itself.

Now for the really interesting stuff. The Infinity Armor Bay includes a Technician, a UNSC Spartan Recon most likely Halo 4 Edition with an EXCLUSIVE SKIN, multiple weapons, and the Armor Bay itself. Just like the UNSC Cryo Bay, it seems very simply built using nothing much of what we haven't seen before. Personally I wish it was a little more complex, although the mechanical arms look cool, but hopefully it's at a good price which might be around $20. In saying that what do you think? So the Holidays are almost here, and I think it's time to do a Top 5 Holiday list for anyone looking for something on a special occasion. Check out the list and see if you agree with our choices.

In case you are wondering, we are NOT! including the UNSC Mammoth as it may be too expensive for some, however, it would be high on our list. Please know this isn't really a list for collector's but the kids who are really into the line.

Halo Mega Bloks #96978 SERIES 8 Revealed

Anyone remember just recently when Mega dropped a hint of the Series 8 Mystery Packs? Well thanks to Josh S. on a Facebook Group, 'MBC - Mega Bloks Collectors' we finally get to see the full list (Except maybe a few translucent or any other form of extras) of the Series 8 Mystery Packs in this one photo. Just as said between the lines of the hint dropped, Forerunner figures including the Crawler, is listed for the line up. This line does go back to 8 figures among the main line of it rather then the previous 16, but I feel it just makes things a little easier. Here is the list from what we can tell.

MEGA BLOKS drops MAJOR hints for Series 8 Mystery Figure

So in case you didn't know, BAToys4BABoys had updated their site with Series 8 Mystery Packs on Pre-Order. But I was looking around the Mega Bloks Halo page and found a picture of a Forerunner collection. In the description of Logan's picture he says, "Is there somewhere where I can just get a barrel of Promethean Crawlers? lol"

Mega replied with "I feel like you might like Series 8 blind bags." I don't know about you guys, but does that sound like in Series 8 we're going to get Forerunners and most likely Crawlers?

Sounds like a perfect opportunity to bring your Forerunner collection to greater numbers. What do you think about this? Is it a smart move? Are you hoping the Crawlers will be commons?

Halo Mega Bloks 2014 Micro Fleet Wave #1 sets revealed

Does the username Vanocean ring any bells? Well he's the guy from Spartan Bloks who seems to get his hands on 2014 sets early. A while ago he got a new Battle Unit and Ammo Pack now he has three of the Wave #1 or only Wave sets for the Micro-Fleet line. What's Micro-Fleet you ask? Well it seems to be a line much like the Lego Star Wars Mini's from at least what I can remember of them. It seems to be like their early stuff as you get two mini playsets some for different sides, some just for background of display.

Sets include:
#97270 Micro-Fleet Mantis Invasion
#97224 Micro-Fleet Hornet Assault
#97216 Micro-Fleet Warthog Attack

First we'll take a look at the Mantis Invasion. This one includes a well-put for this scale Desert Camo Mantis with what I think is a Shade Turret behind it. Included with a Bonus Figure and this one seems to be the only new deco for this figure, a Silver Mark VI Spartan with a brand new weapon. The Mantis looks well articulated and the head case much like the Plasma Dragon heads looks good. Hoping there's a little Die-Cast in it, if not, still a nice piece.

Next is the Hornet Assault. Included with this set is pretty much a down scaled version of the Hornet Attack released for the Target Exclusive Red Line. Basically, you get a Hornet, as well as a Covenant Sniper Tower, and a Red Spartan Bonus Figure in which has a Saw. Also a Red Helmet Case.

Last but not least, the Warthog Attack. Much like the Warthog Resistance this includes a Warthog which seems to be the Rocket Variant, a Forerunner Structure, a Master Chief, and a Green Helmet.

Target Canada Sale on Halo Mega Bloks UNSC Pelican Gunship.

Working on your Christmas list for buying or giving? Target Canada has the UNSC Pelican Gunship, 2013 not the 2010 version, you know the Halo 4 Version. From November 4th to the 28th the UNSC Pelican Gunship is on sale for $79.99. Get it while it's hot and remember, in maybe some Target Stores, the UNSC Cryo Bay is also on sale for $3.89. That includes the re-release white packaged Summer 2013 Edition as I had just purchased it myself. Good luck.

MEGA BLOKS: Halo #97004 Brute Prowler Attack (Walmart Exclusive)

Halo Mega Bloks 2014 brings new Battle Unit, Cyclops, Ghost, and more.

Credit to Vanocean on Spartan Bloks, people now see what's to release for 2014, at least for some early sets. And it seems to bring some interesting sets that look not bad. 1st off we can see the Spartan IV Battle Unit, which includes the Red/Maroon Halo 4 UNSC Scout Spartan, Halo 4 Covenant Storm Jackal, Green Halo 4 Covenant Imperial Grunt, and a Blue Translucent Halo 4 Spartan Recruit. 2nd is the UNSC Armory Pack II, with a brand new Halo 4 UNSC Marine, a chest piece with a knife in storage, and interesting colored Weapons. On the back of the boxes advertises a Ghost set, a new Cyclops, and four new Drop Pods.

Mega Bloks Halo 97233 SPECIAL EDITION 20 Pack Revealed.....ish

Those sneaky guys with their Mega Bloks. If you've been lurking around the Facebook Page of Halo Mega Bloks you've probably already noticed the Mega Bloks Halo SPECIAL EDITION 20 Pack Revealed.....ish. Someone asked for a photo of the packaging for the 97205 Collector's Edition Pack after thy had posted photos of the set contents. Though behind it shows a little sneaky 20 Pack behind. This is the most amount of figures a set for Halo Mega Bloks has ever put out unless you count the individual Series 7 Mystery Packs together.

The set judging by it's packaging looks to be of a Toys'R'Us Exclusive as it has the same look of the box as does the Flood Hunters sets. As you can see, the set contains a Cyan Covenant Jump Pack Brute, and a Black UNSC Security Spartan. Not only that but from the lower part you can see a UNSC CQB Spartan, what looks to be like a UNSC Mark V[B] Spartan Reach Style, a UNSC EVA Spartan, the return of the UNSC Flame Marines, an Active Camo Figure, as well as a Combat Unit like stand but larger and with a new label. So that's only 7 figures we can see for the pack but it may be half Covenant, half UNSC. I wonder if this will mark the return of some other figures, I know the Hayabusa is retired, but I want to see a green version. Odd enough, the box shows the figures to be green yet comes with a Black UNSC Security Spartan. So what do you think?

Possibly the Final Design #97174 UNSC Mammoth

If you've been lurking around Spartan Bloks or the Halo Collector's group on facebook, you probably had already seen this, what looks to be the Final Version of the UNSC Mammoth which is looking into release soon according to the Interview seen before. Now we can see that the box is so big it needs a handle on the top. Instead of the 6 figures said previously, it seems this set will come with four to five if you include the AI in which lights up like the Cortana version in the Forward Unto Dawn set.

On Toys'R'Us.ca the sets regular price is $219.99. "The M510 Mammoth siegework has no equal in size, firepower, or tactical faculty within the UNSC's mobile planetside support contingent, making it one of the most powerful ground assets ever designed by humans. At roughly 70 meters in length and carrying numerous mounted support weapons and materiel caches, the M510's most significant attribute is its topside MAC, designed to target and eliminate hostile vessels, weapons, and even fortifications residing in terrestrial or even suborbital positions. Idea for kids ages 8 and up!"

HALO: Mega Bloks #96805 UNSC Rocket Warthog

It's hard for me to get the Grey Spartan, yet, that's kind of cool

For some odd reason, the Halo Fest CE Warthog doesn't bother me, the AC Spartan from 2009 doesn't bother me, nor do any other rare figure I'm not able to get my hands on. So with that said, personally, I don't know why the grey with green visor Spartan based on the Halo 4 design has been said my ultimate want?

For those just thinking I'm just complaining that I want it like a 5 year old wants candy, I just have this feeling to write about it. And no, I'm not on my knees for this figure. But I have no idea why I feel this is going to be a goal for me to snag.

Maybe it looks almost Night Ops with the Green visor, I really have no idea. But that's also what I like, because it's cool that other people will not have the same collection most likely that I will, and it makes other peoples collection far more interesting. I'm not saying someone buy it for me at all. I'm saying, that's just another thing you gotta love about Halo, always keeping your interest even when looking at other peoples collection.

So this leads me to ask, what figures are you so hoping to go after? Why? and what you think of the Grey and Green Visor Spartan because I still have no idea why I like it so much?

With that said, it's sadly easy to criticise what's to fault with this concept for these toys. Lets go over a few and think, is the overall design and overall idea a bad choice to make?
